Refund / Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
This policy explains how cancellations and refund requests are handled for mobile application design and development services provided by Boost Max App.
1. Introduction
We aim to handle cancellations and refund requests fairly and transparently. Because our services are custom and project-based, specific terms are set out in each project's agreement.
2. Scope
This policy applies to design, development and related services provided by the company. It does not apply to third-party products or services purchased directly by the client.
3. Project-Based Services
Mobile app projects involve custom work tailored to each client. Time and resources are committed as work progresses, which affects how cancellations and refunds are handled.
4. Service Agreements
Each engagement is governed by a written agreement or proposal describing scope, deliverables, payment terms and cancellation terms. Where that agreement contains specific refund or cancellation terms, those terms apply and take precedence over this general policy.
5. Project Deposits, if applicable
Some projects may involve an initial payment before work begins. Whether a deposit applies, its amount and whether it is refundable are set out in the project agreement.
6. Cancellation Requests
A client may request cancellation of a project by contacting us in writing. We will confirm receipt and discuss the status of work and next steps.
7. Refund Eligibility
Refund eligibility depends on the terms of the project agreement, the stage of the project and the work completed at the time of cancellation. Payments for work already performed are generally not refundable.
8. Work Already Performed
On cancellation, the client is typically responsible for work performed up to the cancellation date, as described in the project agreement.
9. Design and Development Deliverables
Deliverables completed and paid for before cancellation are handled according to the project agreement, including any provisions on ownership and transfer.
10. Third-Party Expenses, if applicable
Costs paid to third parties on the client's behalf — such as licences, services or developer program fees — are generally non-refundable by us, and are subject to the third party's own policies.
11. Project Changes
Changes to scope may affect fees and timelines. Changes are discussed and agreed in writing before they are implemented.
12. Technical Issues
If you experience issues with delivered work, please contact us. We will review the issue and address it in line with the project agreement.
13. How to Request Cancellation / Refund
Email [email protected] with your name, company, project reference and a description of your request.
14. Approved Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved, it is typically issued using the original payment method or another method agreed with the client. Processing times may depend on the payment provider.
15. Changes to Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date indicates the most recent revision.
